About Bowls
Welcome to the world of lawn bowls, where age is just a number and fun is guaranteed!
Played with large, bias-designed resin balls, players aim to roll their bowls closer to a small white bowl (called the jack) than their opponents.
All you need is bowls (a set of 4), the jack, the mat and a rink. You can play singles, pairs, triples and fours.
Bowls can be hired from Club Wonthella. For only $10 per person, you will receive all the equipment required to play. All you need to bring is flat shoes or socks or you can even play barefoot.

Pennants
Club Wonthella proudly competes in the Batavia Bowling League against teams from Denison/Dongara, Mullewa, Northampton, and Geraldton Bowling Club.
Our club is a force to be reckoned with, participating in both first and second divisions in the men's competition every Saturday afternoon. But that's not all—our ladies' division is equally fierce, with teams in first and second divisions playing every Thursday morning.
What sets us apart is our depth of talent, with multiple teams in some divisions which contributes to vibrant and spirited competition.
